"I quietly observe the ceaseless rhythm of nature and human life—its cycles of movement, breakdown, and reinvention. This observation fuels my practice, where I create a visual language to express the energy, colour, shape, and emotion of these constant evolutions.
My process is both technical and highly experimental. I push, pull, and fatigue my materials—letting them crumble, reform, and layer upon themselves to echo the activity and decline I sense in the world. At times, I work with deliberate control; at others, I let the medium take its own course. This dynamic interplay creates complex, multi-layered, and entwined compositions.
I use gestural and abstracted lines to create fragments and boundaries that link, rejoin, and reform across the canvas in rhythmic layers. This process of intentional erasure creates an organic tension, where a sensation of rising and falling illustrates the deep interplay of time and space. The resulting work speaks to the historical narrative of our landscape—both natural and human—and the indelible marks we leave upon it."
